Information for Riders

Here all riders of the ADAC MX Masters can find important information:


ADAC MX Masters (class 1 - International German Motocross Championship)

  • 7 meetings, 2 events of 30 minutes + 2 laps per meeting
  • Last chance race for riders who fail to qualify directly
  • The only bikes allowed to compete are solo motocross models in the 100cc to 650cc bracket (2/4 stroke) that comply with the technical regulations of the FIM and the DMSB.
  • Eligible to enter Class 1: Riders holding a valid international or championship motocross licence issued by the FIM or FIM Europe (UEM) or an international licence / DMSB A licence and holders of a valid national category A motocross licence issued by an FIM Europe (UEM) / or CONU affiliated member from the age of 15

ADAC MX Youngster Cup (class 2)

  • 7 meetings, 2 events of 25 minutes + 2 laps per meeting
  • Last chance race for riders who do not qualify at the first attempt
  • Male riders born 1998 to 2005 are eligible to enter class 2.
  • Female riders born 1992 to 2005 are eligible to enter class 2.
  • Participants must hold a valid licence of the following type:

- DMSB B licence or DMSB J licence
- DMSB-Inter- and A licence
- International/national motocross licence (Class A or B) issued by a member federation of the FIM or of FIM Europe
- FIM European Championship licence (age 14 upwards)

  • The only bikes allowed to compete are solo motocross models in the 100cc to 250cc bracket (2/4 stroke) that comply with the technical regulations of the FIM and the DMSB.

ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 (class 3)

  • 6 meetings, 2 events of 20 minutes + 2 laps per meeting
  • To compete in Class 3, riders must have been born during 2001 at the earliest and 2006 at the latest.
  • Contestants must hold of one of the following licences:

- DMSB B licence or DMSB J licence
- DMSB Inter and A licence
- International/national licence (Class A or B) issued by a member federation of the FIM or of FIM Europe

  • The only bikes allowed to compete are solo motocross models in the 100cc to 125cc bracket (2 stroke) that comply with the technical regulations of the FIM and the DMSB.

ADAC MX Junior Cup 85 (Class 4)

  • 6 meetings, 2 events of 20 minutes + 2 laps per meeting
  • The only bikes allowed to compete are solo motocross models in the 65cc to 85cc bracket (2 stroke, full-size and reduced-size wheel) that comply with the technical regulations of the FIM and the DMSB.
  • To compete in Class 4, riders must have been born during 2004 at the earliest and 2009 at the latest. They must also hold a valid DMSB B or DMSB J licence or alternatively an international or national motocross licence issued by a member federation of the FIM / FIM Europe or a Championship licence issued by the FIM and/or the FIM Europe.

General information

  • Riders must hand in their licences (including international starting permit in the case of international riders) for the administrative check. Licences will be returned to the riders when they finished racing and hand in the transponders. Please do not submit your starting permit in advance!
  • To collect their licences, riders must return the transponder after the time limit for appeals has expired.
  • Cancellations should be made by fax, by mail or by email. Unexcused absence will be penalised.
  • Attendance at rider briefings is mandatory for class 2, 3 riders.
  • Entrants failing to specify the type of their licences will be deleted from the list of entrants.

Pit bikes

The riding of pit bikes, pocket bikes, mini bikes or similar as well as non-racing motorcycles with petrol engines or electric motors is strictly prohibited. Any contravention of this regulation may result in the vehicle being impounded and excluded from the event.


Free practice on Saturday

There will be two free practice sessions on Saturday for contestants with even and odd starting numbers. Each group will go first on alternate weekends.


Transponders

Since 2011 riders need to use their own mylaps/AMB-MX transponder. Transponder you can purchase here. Guest riders can still rent a transponder for a single race - the fee is 20 Euro plus a deposit of 10 Euro for the holder per race.


Cameras

Riding with camera is forbidden in general.
Individual exceptions must be approved by ADAC e.V. and will be inspected by the technical commissioner.


Refuelling

The regulations for the ADAC MX Youngster Cup and ADAC MX Junior Cup categories forbid refuelling after the inspection lap.


Starting numbers

Applications for starting numbers (valid all season) open on 1st December at https://www.dmsb-mx-nationals.de/. When attaching rider number to jerseys, please comply with the FIM's rules and regulations as laid down in article 01.76. If the holder of a rider number is not competing in a particular event, then that start number shall remain unused.

ADAC MX Masters / ADAC MX Youngster Cup ADAC MX Junior Cup 125:
Before the season begins, rider numbers will be assigned by the DMSB and may be requested as of December 1st 2018 from the DMSB.
During the season, start numbers will be allocated by the ADAC e.V. in conjunction with the DMSB and can be obtained from the ADAC e.V.

The ADAC MX Masters, ADAC MX Youngster and ADAC MX Junior Cup 125 classes have numbers in common.
Rider numbers allocated for 2017 will be published on the Internet on the DMSB's home page (www.dmsb.de). When attaching rider number to jerseys, please comply with the FIM's rules and regulations as laid down in article 01.76. If the holder of a rider number is not competing in a particular event, then that start number shall remain unused.

ADAC MX Junior Cup:
Before the season begins, rider numbers will be assigned by the DMSJ and may be requested on the website of DMSJ at http://www.dmsj.org/dmsj-meisterschaften/jugend-motocross/. During the season, start numbers will be allocated by the ADAC e.V. in conjunction with the DMSJ and can be obtained from the ADAC e.V.


Final entry date for regular riders / guest riders

Close of registration for regular and guest riders Registration for regular riders closes on 8th February 2019. Guest riders can start to register from 12th February 2019 onwards.
The final entry date for guest riders is 2 weeks in advance of each race. Till that date the original entry form (no fax, no email) has to be at the ADAC office.


Starting list

The permanent starters list will be published on 15th February 2019.
You can find the starting list for each race 2 weeks in advance of every races under point races & results at the particular event.


Payment of the entry fee

The entry fee for 2019 is 70 Euro per race.
The bank data you can find at point 2.1 of the regulations. Entry fee must be paid in advance only by riders with a regular place on the grid!
Guest riders can also pay cash at the race venue. The entry fee per race is 90 euros.
